Abstract
The social crisis and the pandemic in 2019 and 2020 have questioned the limits of the neoliberal State, the territorial daily life, and the capacities of institutional agency, with Haitian migrants being the community that has suffered the main effects in their projects of roots. It is discussed, as research results and with a social anthropological perspective, the new living conditions of the Haitian population in the face of a generalized social protest, “the pandemic of inequality” and confinement, through the difficulties of access to the housing and dependence on the informal labor market, within the framework of structural racism and the “subalternizing” chilean society.
