Evaluation Of Brest Cancer Detection Algorithm

In this paper is presented the evaluation of an algorithm for detection of microcalcifications in breast images, allowing us early breast cancer prevention. The Crème Filter is an algorithm with only one parameter 'n' that permits to observe the texture dependence when the parameter is changed. The evaluation is done by a cancer expert medical doctor. This algorithm is a new tool for better detecting microcalcifications characteristic of breast cancer.
